Since we arrived here in Sandanski, everything is happening really fast. Yesterday, August 22nd, the short term EVS volunteers arrived. We had our first meeting at night, but the weather was so bad and all we could have done was just introducing ourselves and exchanging a few words.
Today we have spent the whole day with them in the welcoming session conduced by the Bulgarian volunteers. The aim of this session was getting to know each other, and give more information about the festival, and about the EVS in general.
We presented our presentation about Bulgaria to them, in order to let them know some basic things about this country and everything related to it.
The atmosphere was so good! The new volunteers are very nice, very enthusiastic, and they all are looking forward to starting the project. Now they are in their on-arrival training, but next week they will join us on the preparation of the festival.
